What do I need to connect Zoom?

You need a Zoom account allowed to create meetings and your own Zoom OAuth app with a Client ID and Client Secret. Your Zoom plan limits still apply to the meetings you host.

How does Zoom OAuth setup work?

Create a Zoom OAuth app, enter its Client ID and Client Secret in MessageMind, then approve the Zoom consent screen for the host account. The connector stores and refreshes that account token.

Does it generate a fresh meeting per booking, or use a shared PMI?

A fresh Zoom meeting is generated for every booking, with its own meeting ID, passcode and join link. Personal Meeting IDs are deliberately not used, so two guests never land in the same room and each meeting stays attached to its booking.

Does this connector sync recordings or transcripts?

No. This integration creates, updates and deletes the Zoom meeting attached to a booking. Recordings, transcripts and their distribution remain in your Zoom and team workflow.

Does it support team calendars?

Zoom is the meeting-link provider for your configured calendar event type. Each host who uses Zoom must have a connected Zoom account; availability and host assignment come from the MessageMind calendar configuration.

What happens when a booking changes?

Rescheduling updates the existing Zoom meeting while keeping its meeting ID and join URL. Cancelling the booking deletes that Zoom meeting. Reminder and handoff behavior follows your configured calendar and messaging workflow.
