Does MessageMind support a self-hosted Cal.com server?

The current connection uses the hosted api.cal.com API. It does not provide a configurable self-hosted API base URL.

How is Cal.com connected, OAuth or API key?

Connect with a Cal.com API key and select the event types to offer. This integration does not use a Cal.com OAuth flow; update the saved key if you rotate it.

Which event types are offered?

The AI uses the selected, non-hidden event types available to the connected account. Do not assume every team member’s event type is included.

Does the integration respect per-user working hours and buffers?

The integration reads Cal.com availability and submits the chosen booking. Availability may change before submission, and some event types require host confirmation. A slot check is not a temporary hold.

Can invitees reschedule from the thread?

Yes. If the prospect replies asking to move the booking, MessageMind reads the existing invite, offers the next three valid slots on the same event type and performs the Cal.com reschedule, then confirms the new time back in the thread with the updated invite.

What happens when the scheduling request is too complex for the AI?

The thread is handed to a human teammate with the full context attached, including the Cal.com event type, host, candidate slots and any constraints the prospect mentioned. Your team picks up without asking the invitee to repeat themselves.
