What does the Squarespace integration connect?

The integration connects through Squarespace OAuth and imports visible products and their variants. Your Squarespace site must provide access to the Products API. Orders, Member Areas and Scheduling are not part of this catalog connection.

What API scopes does the integration use?

The configured product scopes are website.products and website.products.read. MessageMind uses the connection to read the catalog; it does not write to the storefront or request order and customer access through this integration.

How often does the catalog update?

Visible products are imported on connection and refreshed by a daily scheduled poll. Squarespace does not provide product webhook events, so the catalog is not a live stock guarantee.

Can it process refunds, exchanges or returns?

No. This connection reads product information only. The AI can use the return policies you provide and hand a request to your team; order lookups, refunds and exchanges remain in your store workflow.

Does this include Squarespace Scheduling or Acuity?

Scheduling is separate from the Squarespace product catalog connection. If you use Acuity, connect the dedicated Acuity integration and configure its booking services.

Can a real person take over?

Yes. Your team can take over in the MessageMind shared inbox with the conversation history. The Squarespace catalog connection does not attach customer orders to the thread.
