How are the exchange rates sourced, and how often are they refreshed?

MessageMind fetches one shared rate table per UTC day from the configured provider. The table is cached and stored, so intraday market changes are not reflected in every displayed amount.

Which currencies are supported?

Conversion is available for currencies in the supported registry. Unsupported codes, metals, SDR, fund codes and withdrawn currencies are excluded; this is not a promise that every checkout accepts each display currency.

How does the margin work?

The documented conversion layer uses the shared rate table. It does not provide a per-pair custom spread or a payment-pricing margin.

Does the rate stay fixed while the buyer completes checkout?

No payment-rate hold is provided. Display conversion does not lock a checkout price; the payment provider determines the amount and exchange rate used for a transaction.

How does it integrate with Stripe multi-currency?

It does not initiate Stripe payments or settlement. Currency conversion changes displayed amounts using the shared daily rate table; your payment provider controls the currency, rate and fees applied to an actual transaction.

What happens if the exchange-rate provider is unavailable?

The last stored rate table can be used as a fallback if the provider is unavailable. If no stored table exists, conversion is unavailable and the system reports that instead of inventing a rate.
