Which Cin7 product does this support?

Cin7 Core, formerly DEAR Systems, with API access. Cin7 Omni is a different product and is not covered by this connection.

How is Cin7 Core connected?

Enter the Account ID and Application Key from Cin7 Core. The integration uses keyed REST calls and is read-only; it does not request order or stock-hold write actions.

Can MessageMind reserve stock?

No. It reads availability but does not reserve a unit, change warehouse allocation or place an order. Confirm the sale through your existing ordering workflow.

Can it create purchase orders or receive stock?

No. Purchase orders, receiving and other inventory writes remain in Cin7 Core. The AI can use the product and availability data the read-only connection provides.

Does it change my Xero or QuickBooks connection?

No. MessageMind reads Cin7 Core; it does not create sales that flow into accounting. Your existing Cin7 accounting integration continues to manage its own records.

How often is the catalogue refreshed?

The catalogue sync runs once a day. Live availability checks are separate, and API traffic is paced to stay within the account limit.
