What do I need to connect Phorest?

Ask Phorest for Third Party API access, including the API username, password and business ID. Choose the correct EU or US region when connecting your salon.

How does the Phorest connection work?

Enter the Phorest API username with its global/ prefix, password, business ID and region in MessageMind. The connector uses HTTP Basic authentication; it is not an OAuth sign-in.

Are services, stylists and locations all synced?

Yes. Every service, duration, price, stylist calendar and location in Phorest is pulled in automatically. When a stylist adds a new treatment or changes their hours, MessageMind sees the update on the next sync and books clients against the current diary, not a stale copy.

How is the deposit captured?

MessageMind sends a secure payment link in the same chat thread the booking came from. The deposit is captured through your existing Phorest payment setup, so the money lands in the same account and under the same reporting as every other Phorest transaction.

Can the AI answer questions about retail products?

You can provide retail product information for answers in the conversation. The Phorest connector reads salon services and availability and creates bookings; it does not create retail sales.

What happens on a complex color consultation?
