The Lodgify AI integration connects Lodgify to MessageMind so an AI agent can read live context and reply across every channel your customers use. Connect Lodgify so the AI agent can answer your guests and check your properties, availability, prices and reservations. Lodgify connects in two places: the Lodgify channel brings guest messages into your Main Inbox, and the Lodgify integration gives the AI agent your properties, calendar and bookings.

What is the Lodgify AI integration?

Connect Lodgify so the AI agent can answer your guests and check your properties, availability, prices and reservations. Lodgify connects in two places: the Lodgify channel brings guest messages into your Main Inbox, and the Lodgify integration gives the AI agent your properties, calendar and bookings. Both use your Lodgify Public API key. Connect the channel first and the integration reuses its key, so you paste it only once.

You can see every supported integration on the MessageMind integrations page, and the full technical reference for this one lives in the Lodgify documentation. If you prefer to see it in action first, book a demo and we will walk you through the live flow.

What the Lodgify integration can do

The Lodgify AI integration ships with the following capabilities out of the box:

  • Guest messages on your Lodgify bookings and enquiries arrive in the Main Inbox of the Workspace, next to your other channels.
  • Replies from the AI agent or your team are posted in the guest's booking or enquiry conversation in Lodgify.
  • Replies you send from Lodgify's inbox or app are copied into the conversation, so the AI agent knows what the guest has already been told. If you answer in Lodgify before the AI agent replies, it drops its own answer.
  • With Sync Properties on, your Lodgify properties are imported and kept up to date.
  • The AI agent can check availability and prices for exact dates, send a Lodgify booking link and look up a guest's reservation.
  • For an existing booking, it can check an early check-in, a late check-out or new dates against the calendar, and read the cancellation policy when a guest asks about cancelling.
  • A Lodgify conversation shows its property in the chat header. Hover it to see the stay's details.

Data read and written

The Lodgify AI integration touches a scoped set of fields. Here is exactly what moves between the two systems:

DirectionWhat it covers
ReadGuest messages on your Lodgify bookings and enquiries.
ReadReplies sent from Lodgify in the same conversation, including Lodgify scheduled messages.
ReadYour active properties: name, description, photos, address, maximum guests, bedrooms, bathrooms, bed types, size, amenities, whether pets are allowed, check-in and check-out times, and the nightly price range.
ReadEach property's calendar, nightly rates and the price of an exact stay, including Lodgify's minimum stay and arrival day rules.
ReadReservations and enquiries: guest name, property, dates, check-in and check-out times, number of guests, status and booking reference.
WriteReplies to guests, posted in the guest's booking or enquiry conversation in Lodgify.
WriteMessages from a campaign's Send PMS message step, posted in the guest's conversation for that booking.

How to set up the Lodgify AI integration

Setup takes a few minutes once your Lodgify account is live. The outline:

  • In Lodgify, go to Settings > Public API and copy your Public API key.
  • In MessageMind, open Connections > Channels and click the Lodgify card. The Hospitality filter narrows the list to the rental systems.
  • Paste the key into the Public API key field.
  • Optionally, enter a Display name, such as your property or brand name. It is shown as the name of this connection.
  • If you or your team put your own email addresses on bookings (a bookings mailbox, or the office address you type into manual bookings), add them under Your own email addresses (optional) and click Add.
  • Click Connect Lodgify. You see "Lodgify connected." and the page shows a Connected badge.

The step-by-step walkthrough, including every button and field, is in the Lodgify documentation.

Use cases for the Lodgify AI integration

Teams typically turn the Lodgify AI integration on to:

  • A guest who booked through your Lodgify website asks at 11 pm whether they can arrive at noon. The AI agent finds their booking, checks whether the property is free the night before and answers the way you trained it to.
  • Someone sends an enquiry asking if the cabin is free for four people over the long weekend. The AI agent checks the dates, the cabin's capacity and the minimum stay, gives the price and sends a booking link.
  • A guest writes on WhatsApp with their Airbnb confirmation code and asks what time check-out is. The AI agent finds the Lodgify booking from the code and reads the check-out time on it.
  • You answered a guest from the Lodgify app on your phone. When the guest writes again, your reply is already in the conversation and the AI agent reads it before answering.
  • A guest who booked on your website is thinking about cancelling. The AI agent reads the cancellation policy on their booking and what they have paid so far.

Limitations to know

The Lodgify integration ships with a deliberately scoped surface. These are the limits worth knowing before you depend on it:

  • The AI agent never creates, changes or cancels bookings. It checks the calendar and tells the guest what it found, and you make any change in Lodgify.
  • Conversations on Airbnb and Booking.com bookings are not supported on the Lodgify channel.
  • Booking links need your Lodgify checkout page. If it cannot be found, which can happen when your booking website runs on your own domain, the AI agent still checks availability and prices but sends no link.
  • Replies you type in Lodgify do not appear live. They show up in the conversation when the guest writes again or just before the AI agent answers.
  • Properties that are not active in Lodgify are not imported.

Pricing and plan availability

The Lodgify AI integration is available on MessageMind's paid plans. The MessageMind pricing page lists which plan is required and what each tier includes. There is no extra per-integration fee; the connection is part of your account.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Lodgify AI integration?

The Lodgify AI integration is the native connection between Lodgify and MessageMind. Once connected, the AI agent can read live Lodgify context during a conversation and act on it (for example answering a stock question, booking an appointment or updating a contact) across WhatsApp, Instagram, SMS, email and web chat.

How do I connect Lodgify to MessageMind?

Open the Lodgify integration page inside your MessageMind dashboard and follow the connect flow. The full step-by-step with every field label and screenshot is in the Lodgify documentation.

How does authentication work for the Lodgify integration?

You paste your Lodgify Public API key. There is no Lodgify sign-in page. The channel and the integration both need the key, but when the Lodgify channel is already connected, the Connect Lodgify window on the Integrations page reuses it. To give the integration a different key, click Use a different API key instead in that window. MessageMind stores these credentials encrypted at rest and uses them only server-side, so they never reach the browser or any third party.

What does the AI agent do once Lodgify is connected?

It works with live Lodgify data during the conversation. The first capability in the Lodgify documentation reads: "Guest messages on your Lodgify bookings and enquiries arrive in the Main Inbox of the Workspace, next to your other channels." The full list, with every field the integration reads and writes, is in the documentation.

On the channel page, clicking Connect Lodgify shows "Please enter your Lodgify API key." What should I do?

The Public API key field is empty. Copy the key from Settings > Public API in Lodgify and paste it.
