The Hercules AI integration ships with the following capabilities out of the box:

  • Import the contacts and candidates in your Hercules workspace into your MessageMind contacts.
  • Keep the extra details from each Hercules record, such as location, current role, skills and pipeline stage, as custom fields on the contact.
  • Bring in new Hercules contacts automatically from time to time after you connect. Running the import again brings them in straight away.
  • Add new MessageMind contacts to Hercules, for example someone who messages you for the first time or a contact you add with New contact.

How to set up the Hercules AI integration

Setup takes a few minutes once your Hercules account is live. The outline:

  • In Hercules, go to Settings > API Keys and create a new API key. Copy it and keep it somewhere safe, since it works like a password.
  • In Hercules, go to Settings > Workspace and copy your Workspace ID.
  • In MessageMind, open Connections > Integrations.
  • Click CRM in the left rail, or type Hercules in the search box.
  • Click Connect on the Hercules row. The Connect Hercules window opens.
  • Paste the key into API Key and the ID into Workspace ID. Both fields are required.

Limitations to know

The Hercules integration ships with a deliberately scoped surface. These are the limits worth knowing before you depend on it:

  • MessageMind can only create contacts in Hercules. Changes you make in MessageMind to a contact that is already in Hercules are not sent there.
  • Contacts that came from Hercules are never sent back to it.
  • When a Hercules contact changes after it is in MessageMind, the values the contact already has in MessageMind are kept. Only empty details are filled in.
  • Deleting a contact in either tool does not delete it in the other.
  • Hercules contacts with no email and no phone number are not imported. They are counted as Invalid.

Pricing and plan availability

The Hercules AI integration is available on MessageMind's paid plans. The MessageMind pricing page lists which plan is required and what each tier includes. There is no extra per-integration fee; the connection is part of your account.
