The DEALERSHUB AI integration connects DEALERSHUB to MessageMind so an AI agent can read live context and reply across every channel your customers use. Dealers Hub is listed on the MessageMind Integrations page, but it cannot be connected yet. You can see it under Connections > Integrations, in the Industry-Specific category. Dealers Hub does not yet offer a way for MessageMind to check an API key, so every key is refused and nothing is saved.

What is the DEALERSHUB AI integration?

Dealers Hub is listed on the MessageMind Integrations page, but it cannot be connected yet. You can see it under Connections > Integrations, in the Industry-Specific category. Dealers Hub does not yet offer a way for MessageMind to check an API key, so every key is refused and nothing is saved. Until that changes, the AI agent has no access to your Dealers Hub account.

You can see every supported integration on the MessageMind integrations page, and the full technical reference for this one lives in the DEALERSHUB documentation. If you prefer to see it in action first, book a demo and we will walk you through the live flow.

Limitations to know

The DEALERSHUB integration ships with a deliberately scoped surface. These are the limits worth knowing before you depend on it:

  • Every key you paste into the API Key field is refused, even a correct one.
  • MessageMind does not save the key, and the Dealers Hub row stays on Connect. Since it never shows as connected, there is nothing to disconnect.
  • The row's description mentions vehicles, enquiries and customers. None of these come into MessageMind yet, so the AI agent cannot answer questions from your Dealers Hub data.
  • If you also advertise on AutoTrader, you can connect AutoTrader instead (it is listed as Auto Trader in the same category). It imports your forecourt vehicles so the AI agent can answer questions about them.

Pricing and plan availability

The DEALERSHUB AI integration is available on MessageMind's paid plans. The MessageMind pricing page lists which plan is required and what each tier includes. There is no extra per-integration fee; the connection is part of your account.

Frequently asked questions

What is the DEALERSHUB AI integration?

The DEALERSHUB AI integration is the native connection between DEALERSHUB and MessageMind. Once connected, the AI agent can read live DEALERSHUB context during a conversation and act on it (for example answering a stock question, booking an appointment or updating a contact) across WhatsApp, Instagram, SMS, email and web chat.

How do I connect DEALERSHUB to MessageMind?

Open the DEALERSHUB integration page inside your MessageMind dashboard and follow the connect flow. The full step-by-step with every field label and screenshot is in the DEALERSHUB documentation.

Is the DEALERSHUB integration secure?

Yes. Wherever an integration needs credentials, MessageMind stores them encrypted at rest and uses them only server-side. The DEALERSHUB documentation lists exactly what this integration reads and writes, and the security page describes the platform controls.

What does the AI agent do once DEALERSHUB is connected?

Your AI agent reads live context from DEALERSHUB the moment a customer asks a relevant question, and replies in the thread without a human handoff. The full capability list lives in the documentation.

You click Connect and see "This Dealers Hub API key is not valid. Check the key and connect again." What should I do?

The message does not mean your key is wrong. MessageMind cannot check Dealers Hub keys yet, so every key gets it, and trying again with the same or a different key gives the same result. Click Cancel to close the window, which also clears the key from the field.
