Does it work with Google Workspace or personal Google accounts?

Both. MessageMind connects to any Google account that has Google Calendar enabled, whether that is a Workspace domain or a personal Gmail. Workspace customers also get shared-calendar and resource-booking support out of the box.

Which OAuth scopes does the integration request?

MessageMind asks only for `calendar.events` (read and write events on calendars you select) and `calendar.readonly` (so free/busy can be checked across shared calendars). We never ask for full Drive, Gmail or contacts access, and the scope list is shown on the Google consent screen before you authorise.

Does it respect shared calendars and free/busy across teammates?

Yes. When MessageMind picks a slot for a teammate, it pulls free/busy from every calendar that teammate has subscribed to, including shared project calendars and resource rooms. The event is only held if every underlying calendar reports the slot as free.

Can it auto-attach a Google Meet link to the event?

Yes. Every event MessageMind creates can be configured to generate a Google Meet conference automatically, with the join link included in the invite body and in the confirmation sent back through the chat. In-person events skip the Meet link and send the location instead.

What happens if the invitee reschedules or cancels?

Reschedules and cancellations initiated from the Google Calendar invite flow straight back to MessageMind, which reopens the conversation in the original channel to confirm the new time. The event is updated in place, so there is no duplicate on the teammate's calendar.

How does human handoff work on complex scheduling?

If a request needs a human (multi-stakeholder scheduling, special timezones, VIP routing), MessageMind flags the right teammate with the full thread intact and a draft slot already held. The teammate confirms or edits the event from Google Calendar and the invitee is notified in the original channel.
