Does it need a Facebook Business Page?

Yes. The Messenger integration connects to one or more Facebook Business Pages that you already own. Personal profiles are not eligible for Messenger Platform; the Page can be new, as long as it is set up for Business use.

Which Meta permissions does it use?

MessageMind requests the standard Messenger Platform scopes: pages_messaging to send and receive DMs, pages_show_list to let you pick which Page to connect, and pages_manage_metadata to subscribe to Page events. No posting permissions and no personal profile access.

How does the 24-hour messaging window work?

Meta allows free-form replies for 24 hours after a user messages your Page. Outside that window, MessageMind uses pre-approved message tags and templates for post-purchase updates, account alerts and confirmed events, so your account stays inside the Messenger policy.

Can it answer comments and auto-reply to post DMs?

Yes. When someone comments on a post or ad, MessageMind can send them a private Messenger reply with the information they asked for. The public comment is acknowledged, the private thread picks up the detail, and the handoff to a human is one click away.
